Here is her iPage Review:
iPage is alright for web hosting but in my experience, I got what I paid for.
When I was dealing with a few problems using iPage, I used their live chat system and ticket system and ran into non-american Indian-based customer support which is not what I signed up for.
Apparently, they do have support in the united states but only through their telephone support service. For anyone signing up, if you don't like getting support through the phone, you might need to go with another web host that has 100% USA based customer support like InMotion Hosting which is who I ended up switching to.
I've had lots of previous experience using cPanel and iPage does not offer cPanel for their hosting packages (even for a cost, not available). Therefore, you are left with iPage's custom backend to install scripts vs cPanel's fantastico which I feel is superior.
I also felt the iPage server I was on was overloaded or something. It felt slow when accessing my site. Also something I haven't experienced with InMotion but they cost a lot more.
Bottom line is this: Do you have a business website that demands a lot of traffic? You might want to go look for business hosting. But if you are just wanting to launch your first website and desire to utilize their web page builders, iPage would be an excellent choice. You'll get your experience in for only $3.50 a month, nothing wrong with that!
