I was looking for a reliable web host to set up a web site for my local church and I came across iPage from your site. It's weird, I think your site is easier to find information about them versus their own site, but nonetheless....
First of all you can’t beat the price. $3.50 a month is the best price out there. You may see prices as low as $1.99 on other web hosts, BUT you have to commit for 4-5 years, and if you choose to sign up for annual plan it will cost you well over $5 a month.
With iPage, the listed price is for 1, 2, or 3 years all for the same price! I've never once seen anything like this, unprecedented. There's always a catch and not once was I hit with a higher price after I decided to purchase. I was so used to this, I took it as a welcome surprise. They charge for annual plan what they advertise instead of promoting one price on their home page and then trying to charge different prices once you check out.
The web hosting plan itself is packed with features and add-ons. Most of them (or all of the basic ones) are free. You may upgrade to more advanced tools for reasonable fees if you need them. But if you need to run a basic web site you should be fine with standard tools. Even if you need to host a forum like PHPBB, all of the necessary tools like MySQL databases are there free to use.
Overall, I’m very happy with iPage. Strongly recommended.
